(My Uncle Charles Nolan taught this tongue twister musical warm up treat to my Sister, Brother and me when we were children.

Now, 50 some years later,  I am giving voice lessons to a French teen and this musical warm up surfaces like a long lost friend…… I think I will have to first get her through, Bella Senora ah ah ah ah ah ah ah…

then——

Red leather yellow leather red leather yellow leather, red leather yellow leather red(she already has this one down perfectly)…

Then “equity deputy equity deputy”

then na -ne- ni- no- nu…

then supercalifabulisticexpialadocious!!!

Then my Uncle’s treat ___with a drum beat!
